I’m privileged to become a parent governor at Kingsland.
I have a child that has been attending for a number of years and my youngest will be starting in the near future.
From a young age I was trained in customer service at a high level and these have been strengths that have helped me throughout various jobs over many years, from corporate to a retail environment as I like to listen and interact with people.
I decided I wanted to become a parent governor as I also have two adult children and feel I missed the opportunity when they were younger, I didn’t have the confidence to voice my opinions.
This time I took the opportunity as I have the years and experience of how quickly the school years pass by.
I want to also be a voice for others who feel the way I did and help relay any opinions for the best interest of the school and all that attend.
I’m looking forward to my role and continuing to see Kingsland thrive
