Mrs Boot
Hi, my name is Kirsty Boot and I am really honoured to be one of the newly appointed parent governors here at Kingsland. As a long-standing parent at the school, I can honestly say that I have seen the students and the staff of this school go from strength to strength. Kingsland is a school where children have the right to excel and become the best version of themselves, and I see it as a privilege to be a part of the school’s governing body.
As a mother of a child with SEND needs, I have worked closely with the school for nearly a decade in partnership. During this time, I have learnt what it takes to ensure that we are all striving for the best for our children, to make sure that every child has a fair and suitable access to education. I am eager to learn more and do all I can support and help.
I believe in our school and all that it stands for. My view is that a school should be open and welcoming to feedback and discussion. During my training to become a TA at Kingsland Primary School, I have gained experience and knowledge of safeguarding and the national curriculum. I look forward to my time supporting the school.
