MR THORNHILL
I was appointed Vice-Chair of Governors in 2015, after being a parent governor for many years before then having joined the Governing Board when both my daughters attended Kingsland. They have both now left school with my eldest daughter Graduating from University in Norwich with a degree in Midwifery and my youngest having a Supervisory Management role in Retail.
I have lived in Great Barr since 1971 with my parents & sister and moved to Kingstanding in 1999 where my daughters were born. I went to Great Barr Comprehensive School (as it was known then) and went to the 6th Form center there and later to College.
I now work in and around the Midlands area in Estate Agency assisting people buying and selling their dream homes. If you have any questions about becoming a Governor please contact the school and I will be happy to answers any questions or queries that you may have.
