We aim to provide a happy learning environment where all children are encouraged and engaged in their learning in order to reach their full potential.
As well as the daily opportunities to improve and enhance reading, writing and numerical skills, Year 5/6 children experience wide-ranging opportunities from a rich and well-resourced curriculum.
Our aim is to give each child the stability and enrichment they need to become well rounded individuals who are well prepared for the forthcoming challenges of Secondary School.
Year 5/6 is a very important year as some children prepare for their end of Key Stage SATS. We also ensure that we offer Y6 children the opportunity to enjoy and experience a residential trip to Corris in Wales and the Y5 children to enjoy an action-packed residential at Condover Hall.
The teaching staff are Mr Thorsby (Class Teacher) and Mrs McNicholas (Teaching Assistant).
