School Dinners

healthy-schools
We are pleased to have gained Healthy School status. We actively promote a healthy lifestyle across the school by modelling good practice and by having high expectations. These expectations are also mirrored in the quality of food and drink we encourage in school.

  • To apply for free school meals click here.
  • All food at Kingsland is cooked on the premises by our head cook, Rita, and her assistants. She makes sure that there is a good choice that meets all the requirements that make us a 'Healthy School'.

We operate a 4-week rolling menu and children can choose to have meals every day, only some days or not at all. We ask that any change is made on a half termly basis.

School Council represent the views of the children and help to influence Rita in how she might adapt the menu.
Everyone has their favourite day – Friday is Pizza Day and a firm favourite with many!
